The Persephone Extraction is also pretty wedded to the idea that you can play most of its scenarios, after the introductory scenario, in any order. In fact, it’s virtually impossible to imagine running this in any other way: The continuity between the scenarios is tightly woven and all of them are pretty tightly bound to the specific vampiric mythology of the campaign. In reality, however, this is definitely a mini-campaign. And, in its first paragraph, the book does kind of limply wave its hand in the direction of “they can be played individually.” Five authors (each presumably writing one of the scenarios). So today let’s take a peek at The Persephone Extraction.Īt first glance, this looks like an adventure anthology: Five adventures. (If you’ll forgive the least appropriate metaphor of all time).
